Well structured sandal - attractive

This sandal fits very nicely. I am usually a 7.5 but ordered the 7 and is perfect. Colour (bronze) lighter than in the picture; has slight metalic sheen. Colour nice, but was expecting deeper brown.
Wearing around the house has good support and comfy. Wore 1st time on regular 2 mile walk, and there seems to be very little solidity in the middle of the ball of the foot. I would give it a 5 if the colour and the sole was a little more sturdy in that one spot. (Maybe it’s just my foot?). Also, still wondering if this is leather or pleather? Thinking it’s plastic but it doesn’t say anywhere on shoe or its box. Also, I thought this was a Rockport shoe. Confused by the branding. Want to give. 3.5 and hope these sandals last a long time.
