This is basically a loafer style with laces. The styling (loafer structure aside) is nice, but the tung is connected on either side (think loafer) in a way that creates two separate issues for me (note that I ordered the Wide version so already I am talking about a foot constraint that a Medium or less width may not have):
1. Getting the shoe on and off is much more difficult. You need to use the pull on loop.
2. It produces a pressure point on the upper part of the foot, without having the laces tied, that can cut off circulation to the toes and thus create cold feet.
Why oh why would you make a loafer and then add laces! I generally like the Lockport's for their sizing with the Wide option, but this shoe (sold at the higher price point) is terrible execution. I bought it from a local retailer, online for delivery locally because they didn't have any in stock locally. Now I need to return them.
